Jesus assertively tells us "I am the resurrection" He also explains to us in Mathew5:17

Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is given to us in the Laws of the Harvest feasts. In order for us to understand the truth about the resurrection we must learn through the three feasts GOD commanded to Moses in exodus 23:15-16

Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year. Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:) And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field. Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before the Lord GOD.

Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year

In these three feasts that God commanded Moses, unleavened bread, the feast of firstfruits, and the feast of Ingathering, is the appointed appearing before GOD, it is in these three feasts that we have detailed information about our appointment in the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

As we get further into detail of these harvest feasts in Leviticus you will begin to see a wonderful transformation in your understanding about the resurrection and how GOD wonderfully left us with a detailed pattern of his Harvest plans, because it truly is,GOD's Harvest

Firstfruits misunderstood

I have to admit that I do get frustrated when I tune my television into a Christian program that is talking about the Firstfriuts, because it always ends up being a teaching on tithing, "You must bring the firstfruits of your labors into the store houses of GOD" tithing has it's place, I take nothing away from tithing, but it simply is not what GOD has identified as the firstfruits, and there is No accurate understanding of the resurrection without knowing what GOD is doing with his firstfruits.
So, what are the firstfruits? ...actually the word explains itself, firstfruits of the Harvest, it's that simple.
The word has been used throughout the bible to explain the "first of" something that is the topic. The first time the word is used in the bible is in Exodus 23:15-16,with GOD telling Moses to keep the feast of the harvest of firstfruits, but GOD makes it very clear as to the identity of the firstfruits when He tells us plainly what the firstfruits are.
In Lev23:17 GOD makes the first defining declaration of the firstfruits,

Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two tenth deals: they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baken with leaven; they are the firstfruits unto the LORD.

these two loaves of bread baked with yeast(sin) "they are the firstfruits unto the LORD"
This is the first time in the bible where GOD defines exactly what the firstfruits are, being two separate and distinct loaves of bread baked with yeast. The second and last time in the bible where GOD makes this very same declaration is Revelation 14:4

These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.

So what GOD is telling his servants in the revelations given to John in this chapter 14:4 is that the firstfruits are actually 144,000 chosen men of Israel.
So what does this mean?.... It means the edification for us here is the revealing of what the firstfruits actually are, thus...the two loaves of bread baked with yeast and waved before the Lord yearly by the High Priest in the observance of the Law of firstfruits is in fact a demonstration of Christ "through the High Priest"offering up to GOD the firstfruits of his harvest..... Absolutely beautiful the wonders of our GOD!
